New Starter Motor
Just ordered a new starter motor and found a good supplier brand new starter for a 1.6d 1983 van other suppliers quoted around £129 (JK) for one where you had to send in your old starter AlternatorNStarters supplied me a brand starter for £102 including next day delivery and they will not be beaten on price, I had a quote from a local recon business of at least £60 for my original to be reconditioned so I think £102 is a good deal for a brand new one, fitting it tomorrow.

Re: New Starter Motor
you must remember also £102 included VAT and next day delivery! a GSF Starter motor costs £86 not including VAT so that comes to £101 you have to drive to get it and as mentioned exchange your old one far easier getting it delivered for a pound more!
fitted it not and it starts first turn of the of the engine far better.

Re: New Starter Motor
