tyre sizes

is the a way of converting US tyre sizes in to i guess metric sizes? for example what do 7,5/100 R 16 roughly equate too.

dont know many americans that work in metric, unless they work on europeian cars and bikes, :lol:

just a little planing on the doka, wheels, breaks, gearing, etc

But why have you got to "work in american"? Just coz they cant do "metrication" doesnt mean you have to copy them...

This seems to work ok.. although I havent tested it against mine yet... :wink:

Yeah.. generally, most are running 215/75r15 for a reason.. (stock engines) its about as big as you can go without causing too much grief in the power department.. and without body mods...

Remember that blue doka at the spring syncro event last year??

errr not did not?

you may want to think about the tyre profile, there is no reason why a 16inch wheel and tyre combo, has to be any bigger (taller) which will affect the gearing than a 15 inch wheel tyre combo,

Yes that is obvious, BUT even with the same rolling diameter 16" tyres are bigger tyre size than a 15" , no?
