My van has a creaky knocking sound coming from beneath the passenger side. Its quite loud. Could it be some sort of ball joint / suspension issue?
Cheers

Re: Creaking sound
most likely the top wishbone joint check for movement with the wheel off ie movement other than smoothly up and down if no movement then a liberal amount of spray graese should clear it.

Re: Creaking sound
I had a creaking sound from under the front passenger side last year and it turned out to be a fractured suspension spring, which was difficult to see as it was on the last coil turn at the bottom.
