Awning with roof bars

Post by deeja »

Hi,

I've just bought a Kyham awning to fit to my T25, but I've got roof bars, so I'm not sure which will be the best way to attach it.
How does everyone else with roof bars do it??
Cheers

I'm not sure if you can, I've got a Kyham awning which slides into an extruded profile (figure of 8) along the guttering. There is an alternative to using the guttering (a pole which attaches to some suckers on the roof), however, I still don't think this will work with your awning. Unless you move the mounting positions of the roof bars (one at each end of the guttering) or you could have your awning stand alone (not attached).

Dare say you can do the same as I do with the Fiamma brackets sitting in the gutter ....

Cut the 8 into sections that fit almost between the roof bar clamps and if need be some after the clamps
