Re: squeeky engine
Probably sucking in air somewhere between carb and engine. When choke is on, more vacuum is present so it'll be noisy!

Fan belt slipping? Could be waterpump - mine does that sometimes.

Re: squeeky engine
Only thing I've concluded is that if the waterpump is devoid of water, it sets off the squeak. Give it a blip and it stops. Mine does it so infrequently its not worth getting in there to replace it at mo.

Re: squeeky engine
If the squeaking is coming from the fanbelt area then try tightning the fanbelt. It could just be slipping.

Re: squeeky engine
Why put new coolant in and wait to see if it still the same and then have to bleed it again.
Just take the fan belt off and try it. Still the same then you know it nots the pump or anything else driven form it. Noise gone, then it could be the pump. Just seems like alot less work to find the problem.
