Clutch pipes
Hi All
Appreciate all the help and knowledge I have been getting on this site, I am still in the thows of my clutch replacement and need the clutch pipe that comes from the slave cylinder on gear box down to the first flexi hose.
I am having trouble sourcing this part as no one has the correct size fittings.
Any Clues? I am in between Bedford and Milton Keynes.
Cheers
Jay

Re: Clutch pipes
This is the SYNCRO specific version of the pipe Kev is referring to but as he says, the standard, non-Syncro one must be out of stock.

I know they do one as I ordered one by mistake a couple of months back. The part was about £38 or something and well made. DO NOT try to use crappy alternatives as the webshop says! Try an e-mail to Brickwerks to see when the next batch is due.

Re: Clutch pipes
I mentioned this to our local hose manufacturer and they said they'd tried making clutch hoses but they couldn't get a 'pedal'.

Re: Clutch pipes
Just thinking outside the box here but as far as I know the fitting to the slave cylinder is a standard brake line fitting so can it not be replaced with a brake line made to length rather than the plastic pipe?

Re: Clutch pipes
It's rigid to a joint at the bracket, then a flexy to the bulkhead where it meets the steel long pipe.

Re: Clutch pipes
I have the flexi hose from the long pipe coming from vw heritage, it is the metal pipe that runs from the flexi hose to the slave that I am having trouble sourcing.

Re: Clutch pipes
Its the flexi (plastic) I was thinking off. I imagine this was done to allow for movement of gearbox but you could put in a loop to allow for that.
