Camper Exterior Parts Sealant

Post by mistermoo »

Hi,

Just started to prep our camper for some painting and removed fridge vents etc. All the gooey stuff
that seals them has perished over the years. Can anyone recommend what sort of sealant
I should use to replace this please?

Cheers

Sikaflex 291 or 292 is great stuff. It sets like soft rubber and you can clean up with white spirits....its great stuff for any kind of sealing/bonding. If you can't find sikaflex, you can get a generic "marine sealant" which is very similar to sikaflex. Not 100% sure its the stuff for your exact application (I'm pretty new toT25s) but its good stuff.
