1.6d - 1y engine conversion help

Hi,
Planning on removing a clapped out 1.6d engine and replaceing it with a 1y . I'm gonna need a list of every part required for conversion as not very mechanical. Does anybody know where i can source an engine and a rough cost

Only just seen this post, have you made any progress ? I think I can point you in the right direction if you are still going ahead with the swap.

Any joy yet? I got a 1Y on friday for mine, and am now stripping the bits of the broke engine to get her back on the road. Am battling with diesel pump wiring differences though

Dont battle if its a bosh pump break off the black plastic box & under it is the fuel cut off solonoid valve.Connect the ignition feed wire to it .Ignore all others unless it has a solonoid for the cold start you could wire it.
