Good and bad day today

Hi all

Got my trailing arm from puffingtheherb and fitted it with new bushes took most of the day by the time I fitted the brake backing plate, brakes and drive shaft etc. When I had finished thought I would give the engine a run, turned it over a few times then the starter motor went up in a puff of smoke, just my luck. seems like I take one step forwards to take 2 back!

Shame about the starter motor, but it sounds like you will be saving a lot of money doing all that work yourself.
