Hi guys.
My mate has been given an old skool 924 2.0l porsche.
He said the engine is mine if i want it.
What will i need to get her to fit and get it running?
I am new to the T25 scene and dont really know a great deal.
If anyone can provide some help and advice that would be great.
Cheers
Rich

There is another thread on here about fitting the Porsche engines into a bus, in its infancy TBH.
The 924 2.0l will technically bolt up to a South African T3 bell housing but its not worth the expense for the paltry power the 924 2.0l puts out.

By the time ou have finished the conversion and the gain you would realise, I would consider an alternative motor for the conversion pal.
Having siad that, you can fit any engine into a T25 if you have time and money

I've decided to try and source a 1.9 dg and gearbox that was originally in the bus. It will be alot easier because all the loom is still in place.
Just got to find one now.

Have a word with Aidan on both counts. I think he's got a good DG ready to go...dubstar81 wrote:I've decided to try and source a 1.9 dg and gearbox that was originally in the bus. It will be alot easier because all the loom is still in place.

Hi
I am new to this T25 lark too, but have been looking at upgrading current my 1Y engine.
I am considering all sorts of options, but have found a cheap 924 2.0l NA engine with loom. I am already running with a dogleg 5 speed box, so I think it might fit, but can't find how to do it.
I notice a comment regarding lack of power, but I currently have only 60 ish PS, so upgrading to 127(is that right??)PS would be a considerable advantage, no?
I would welcome further feedback on what would need changing and also on how the economy would suffer.
Budget has a wide implication, so a scooby lump is not on the cards, unfortunately.
Any thoughts, please?
Thanks
