Just noticed our van sounding like a singer sewing machine when idling. Havent started it for about two weeks. Took it for a quick run and they seemned to quieten down a little. Dont sound nice though.

Worrying about nothing? or something needs sorting out?

mines awfull bag o spanners spring to mind but give it a few mins the oil gets in and noise settles down i know i need to readjust my tappets as were just set ,but they need doing now and again as valves stretch .
