This does sound very tempting, but a very long way to go for a week, it would be better if it was earlier on like the summer holidays.
Then we wouldn't be limited to the scary £££ ferry prices to Santander.
Just a thought...

Mmmm a long way away for me to plan but was considering going to Morroco this winter if so will look at getting last ferry down your way anyone on for a desert excursion and surfing over xmas/new year and snowboarding on the way back??

Believe me you don't want to go anywhere near the Picos during the summer holidays!! Millions of tourists, expensive campsites, 1500 quid for the ferry...... Basically the whole area calms down after August when all the Spanish head back to Madrid, Barcelona, etc.

If anyone wanted stay on for a few more days I'm sure that could be arranged.

We're definitely up for this one, having driven through the Picos d'Europe several years ago - beautiful area ...
