Thanks.I read through some old posts on here and found the correct measurement for the engine height, its 39mm from the top or the crank pulley to the top of the chassis rails.
Then we made this ( when I say we mainly my Dad)

Started 1st time today.
Still have a few bit to sort out, Alternator tensioner bracket (lost it somehow!)
Exhaust tailpipe.
Throttle cable (bit missing from kit replacement lost or delayed in post)
Dalek cap not working correctly.
Air filter (3" cone filter needed)
But it RUNS
Got to Brean today without to much trouble,did have a bolt fall out the exhaust so it got a bit loud! and I need to fit the vehicle speed sensor but otherwise I'm very pleased.
On the road It's a good feeling. Nice wheels btw, what are they? I'm weighing up whether to get the ones on the SA refurbed (dents/flats on the inner rims ) or replace with something mid-90's looking and those are the style I was thinking of all along.
