LT Wing Mirrors?

Post by Yozza »

Ay up,
I was down the scrappy last weekend and there are the remnants of a LT single cab, it's got one of it's wing mirrors still on (or did) and wasn't sure if these can be made to fit on a T25? Please don't shoot me down if this topic has already been covered!

or don't sit in the cam-plate properly if not mounted properly... (e.g. stressed into place)

Cheerz for the links, as I suspected, will work with a bit of compromise.

there is a pin that holds the mirror arm in to the base mounting bracket, if you knock out the pin you can then shortern the mirror arm so that the section that the mirror attaches to will sit plumb to the door. they will then look right and give you a good veiw when you look in the mirror.

top tip, cheerz. I'm surprised syncro truck mirrors aren't being re-produced (or are they?) Potential gap in the market???

When you have done that bottom section shortening trick, still check that you are not 'springing' the arms into position against the natural position of the brackets on the door. Any 'springing', will inhibit the intended cam-lock and flip in/out of the mirrors (meaning their camlock position will be vague and/or they might blow back at speed.
