What Spark Plug Fits The 2L CU

Post by Becsteer »

This might sound stupid but does anyone know what type of spark plug goes into 1981 Aircooled 2L CU engine. The Haynes gives 3 options I just picked up some from the parts shop who used the reg plate to find them and they have given me 6ES Champion, but in the back of my mind I think these are for the 1.6L, and I'm in work so can't get to the Haynes.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Rob

I use NGK plugs, I always found them best for motorbikes in my younger days in the 70's, especially 2 strokes. The NGK site http://www.ngkpartfinder.co.uk/car_comm ... engine=2.0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; lists B6ES which I use. Champion were $$%^.

Mick.
