Re: accidentally drilled a hole
Previous owners of my van managed to do the same, the van has been used for years without even filling the hole!

Re: accidentally drilled a hole
the pipes were shot, letting in water etc
so I disconnected them and plugged the holes.
I've never filled it over half though to be fair.

Re: accidentally drilled a hole
someone had drilled mine when I removed them to fit new tank, clean up around filler & replace pipework. I used that 2 pack epoxy glue and loaded it over the hole. Seems fine for the last 6 months. Petrol smell gone though that was probably the ruddy great hole in the top of tank

Re: accidentally drilled a hole
What are they actually for? I never fill my tank to the top anyway so is taking them off a problem? i dont like the idea of them as they seem to be a trap for road crap.
