Not at our meet mate, but diferent sites have diferent rules best to check,
We do not have to pay for awnings at the Barrow Meet.

Ian , it depends on the campsite , best ask before you book , some sites appear to be charging for whatever they please

I would say, no they don't charge in most cases. But you need to call it a sun canopy and don't confuse them by calling it an awning and they won't charge for it.
