Anyone used this? Am looking at 20w50 oils to try for my next change to see if they lower the oil consumption a little in my 1.6TD. Apparently it has some sort of 'rubber swelling' additive to help plump up those tired old seals. Any thoughts?

Of course Kevs is a petrol engine and yours is diesel and so if we are being picky this Halfrauds stuff isn't Diesel specific unlike some you could choose.

If you check most oil cans these days, they're sutiable for petrol or diesel.

Of course if you look at a can of 0W 30 Mobil one the API/SAE classification would indicate that it is suitable for a T25 but despite this lube being the best available it is totally unsuitable for an old flat 4 wasserboxer or 4 pot rice burner.
My point.....yes nearly all oils indicate multiple suitability (petrol/Diesel) but that doesn't make them the best choice.
Going 'backwards' to an older technology, the 'Classic' Halfrauds 20W50 is not the best choice anyway and with it being a non diesel specific oil makes it even a poorer choice (in my opinion) even if I agree it PROBABLY says 'also suitable for diesel engines' somewhere on the label (although we don't know that for sure unless we look)

Use this in my 1981 Aircooled, good stuff, I wouldn't use it in a diesel personally

Same here. I used it on my tooleater Aircooled and it quitened the tappets and slowed the oil leaks.
Can't vouch for it being any good in Diesels tho.
