Starter Motor

Hi,
I have a DG Engine 1.9 Petrol with a starter thats broken, solenoid ok i think.

anyone know what other makes of vw,bmw,audi would have the same starter?

its a 1.9 petrol water cooled, 1984, DG engine

nothing is the same, afaik,
montego is same shell, solenoid and internals but different end plate
just get it refurbished with a new cap on the solenoid
