Can I ask how you diagnosed it was the pump at fault?

my ebers not working... no idea why as yet, and a bit scared of taking it apart?! My fan comes on but no heat.... and no clicking pump sound - were these the symptoms you had?

thanks

The pump will only click once when connected as it expects an alternating signal (or something like that) - just to point that out if your not aware (i was expecting it to furiously tick away when i connected 12v to it)....

How do you take the pump off to test it without petrol spewing everywhere... I'm assuming theres a pipe running from the tank to it...?

thanks!

Leave it in place! It's easier to take 12v to it.

ok... how? the connectors seem pretty tight to get to tucked up against the underside, what would i do, make up some wire with the same size connectors and stick them on then apply the other end straight to the battery?... then listen for the click...
