Hi all,
Please can you help a newbie out? I have got a 1981 air cooled T25 with a very poorly sliding door. I have been told that there is a difference between my door and the later water cooled T25's ( something about door handle size?).
Is there a difference?
what is it?
and would any T25 door fit my van or do need to look out for an early one?
Many thanks.
Stuart.

Pre mid 1985 is early, so you need an early slider. They are slightly different in shape, along with the rest of the van, and have a different lock and catch system. They also cost more!

There are some very reputable and sympathetic traders on here, so put a post up in the 'wanted' section! Also, may I direct your attention to the 'paint your wagon with a roller' thread in tech help? It is a method I recommend and could help you with door choice as colour wouldn't be as much of an issue.
Good luck!
