Finally had a day welding etc! ITS BEEN PAINTED!!!!

Thin bits of metal and bright blue light.

Well the panel is welded in now, still gotta weld up inside but its on and not to bad, only took a couple of pics and cant upload um at the moment. Ordered up two more bits from schofields but that should be it the amount of welding is slowly coming down in size! Shouldn't be to long before the mammoth d.a. and filling sessions!

Got the two more panels came in a massive box, that once i took um out the packaging weighed more than the panels, just wish the rain would clear off tho cant get on with a thing till its dry!

Spent last few days getting a bit more done, did load under back, and got 90% of driver rear arch done :ok

Yup it is he had a bloke do all his welding, plus a big shed to work on the van once done Im doing all mine on a sloping stone drive!!!! Not too much to do........... :?

Its got its a*** in the air on axle stands on a sloping drive Im not spending much under it! And defo not getting in it till the 2 wheels with the handbrake are on the ground!

Got the rest of the rear arch all done this morning, then spent a while trying to open the drivers door, I would not unlock from inside or out :shock: got it in the end but tricky ( although now I know the nak :wink: ) Whipped the middle sliding window out, loads of rust so had to replace 85% of the metal along the bottom, only the corners were left, and had to cut back a fair whack to to get all the rust! Oh and there's not a drop filler on that!!

The stainless ones ??? Got um off here !!
