talk to elite.. tell them your concerns.
I'm sure the warranty they offer is good.. Ian Hulley had one and went on a 2500 mile trip on it.. no bother Ermie has had three for various vans and so on

I've seen quite a few vans with Elite engines in them and they seem just fine :ok

Gasure (famous on here for their work on T25's) fit them and they have a reputation to keep.

Best if you can to let Elite fit it (it's free by the way !!).
That way you can be sure it is all done right and that their guarantee will be honoured (in the unlikely event of a problem).

I think Gasure are recommended by Elite as trustworthy fitters, but they will charge some dosh of course for doing it.

You'd have to check with them, but I am pretty sure they will get an Elite recon and fit it.

There is a link in my sig to their website. (they did my LPG conversion and I am very pleased with that)

It's always worth asking "Billy739" on here as he often has used engines for sale and is a very fair bloke to deal with.

If you've got breakdown cover, then you could always breakdown somewhere and get towed to Elite, no?
