Simply had enough of dated front discs

Replaced them, Front end.
Ball joint, bushes, rubbers all shiny new, heavy duty 2wd springs, Galvy bits

Hats off to you guys who work on trolley jacks and axle stands, no way I could be arsed with all that!
Some of the jobs people undertake on the floor amazes me.

Personally prefer the highlift and stands but each to their own :) Plus if you can do it on the floor you can do it on the side of the road :ok

Like the fronts discs, but really like the rears disc's.
Where did you get them from, is there nothing you dont have on your van. :)

They vented on the front now Pete? Cant quite see from the pic...?

We might spent an unresionable amout of money on keeping our syncros going but a 4 poster lift is still a bit too flash, plus they don't come in stainless.

As for the thread, once the shiny bits Brickwerks sent today arive, I'm gonna be doing some shinnyification to the front brakes myself! It must be a good idea if everyones doing it, nice work Pete.

Simply done as much as we can. Only used parts that we had here :wink:

That's my favourite lump hammer - ball joint and track rod end remover, the old fashioned way, that doesn't destroy the boot.

Not at the moment Doug, just having a re-think about the centre set screw with rimmed washer on top.

Cheers Glen, The job needed to be done as all of the squeaks were annoying! Plus now the engine is producing we need to be able to stop properly.
