Hi Folks
Could someone please confirm the size of the sump nut, as I believe it may be 18mm, and I will have to go out and get one before I change the oil , as I have tried 17mm 19mm and others.
Thanks for your asssistance.

Re: sump nut size confirmation please
Want to tell us what engine mate???? that might help..
Gonna presume a D/TD as the wbx has a 13mm head.. (cant remember what the aircooleds have its been sooo long)
BUT, any bugger could have messed around and fitted a different sump plug. or rounded it off. try and use a 6 wall drive socket or spanner on it (normal 12 points often do the damage) and it doesnt need to be wragged up so tight either.. it doesnt hold the engine in the chassis, just the oil in the engine...

Make sure you turn it the correct way to undo it, Lloyd.
Remember "lefty loosey, righty tighty" (even if you are looking at it upside down).
Good luck!
