ducting question

Post by albertramsbottom »

Hi

I am missing the ducting from the heat exchangers up to the rear of the engine bay. I have the ducting from the alternator, but both pipes stop just short of the holes either side of the fan housing. I can clearly see through the large gaps around them down to the exhuast.

My question here is, Should there be gaps that I can see through or do the exchanger duct pipes have seals where they come through in to the engine bay?

I think that my engine will be sucking air through these gaps and recirculating the very hot air from the exhaust and exchnagers.

I do not know what these ducts or pipes are called and where i can get them, any ideas?

I can post a pick if it helps
Here is one

Nope, no seals. The pipes should be fairly snug through the tinware when all complete and fitted.
