fitting driving lamps
How easy is it to fit driving/front fogs to a 1983 Devon pop top. I have seen some nice ones but dont know how they would wire up and would i need to drill the front bumper, thanks Karl

Re: fitting driving lamps
Don't get mixed up between driving lamps and fog lamps.
Driving lamps are wired to hi beam headlights (they can have an additional switch to isolate them from this), but they can only legally be on as part of the high beam circuit; fogs will (or should) only come on with dipped beam.
They have different types of lens pattern, fogs can only be used in conditions of reduced visibility; regardless of what the young saxo drivers round have you believe
I'm pretty sure the wiring diagrams are in the wiki, it's fairly straighforward. You might want to add a couple of extra relays to the original headlight circuits too. It helps eliminate voltage drop and makes them loads better.

What a long strange trip it's been
