how 2 repair small hole in devon poptop roof?

i have hunted around in archives, but could do with some advice on how to repair a small hole in our fibreglass poptop roof. The hole is about 7 cm by 0.5cm.

I noticied one poster, windysurfer said he used Rigo Kit Syringe Epoxy Surfspatchel White... but cant find it anywhere.. mayb a surf shop? on boat forums so far i have found recommendations to do a full on repair with layers of fibreglass fabric & resin. is this necessary.

any thoughts much appreciated

I filled a hole in my hi top with something called gelcoat filler, which is a filler for fibreglass. Got it off ebay after reading a thread on here. Works well and sands down easily
