i may be daft, but i have made my booking from Newcastle to Amsterdam for thursday evening crossing, and on the booking it asked the height of the vehicle which is under the 2.35m threshold. i am now worried about my "caravelle" which is a people carrier!! might get booted off the ferry cause they think its a "van", although a range rover is about the same size, what does your booking come back with.
i booked with DFDS.
cheers
Pete

Sounds as though you have never been on a car ferry before! I always book the under 1.8m on Stena, Irish Ferries and P&O and never has anything happened. They couldn't care less what vehicle you have. They need to know two things, firstly what height is it so they will know whether it goes upstairs or down with the trucks! Secondly if its commercial or private. What's the worst that can happen to you..... charge you an extra £10 !!!
