GPS module free

Post by Aidan »

Windysurfer gave me a Fortuna U2 USB GPS receiver
unfortunately I can't get it to work with my laptop running XP sp3
if anyone has a simpler earlier system and wants to try it out they are welcome to have a go, it may be that the unit doesn't work or it maybe a software/hardware issue I just don't know but I spent a bit of time failing to get it to work so I ended up buying a new one from ebay and that works fine, so hopefully no more silly bluetooth errors and losing contact suddenly in future.
