well just in case anyones interested i've had the coolant sniffed at a garage today and there's no sign of any gasses in the coolant.
so i guess i'll try the latest new cap from brickwerks and a good bleed of the system tommorow.
The new cap from brickwerks does look slightly diffent to the last one from them, the tops kinda flat where as the other was a bit rounded.

seems to be fixed
bled the system on ramps as well for good measure

Well done, I hope you realise that you can't bleed the T25 on a slope ... according to some.
Just to be warned, check your van both ways up. After filling from the rear (
) I always like to get the nose in the air and check the rad too.
