Just fitted a second hand replacement and it works fine - but the wipe direction operates the opposite of what it should be. So looking from the back from left to right back to left where it "parks". I never ever even considered there was a difference - clearly I am a numpty.
The wiper "park" position must be at the bottom and not up in the middle of the window - I think.
I never did think about the differences in wipe direction for LH and RH drive vans but there must be. Or am I missing summat? Looks like I'll need a replacement wiper motor assembly from a LH drive then. This take some doing.
Please can anyone clear this up for me.
Cheers
Nick

Yep Numpty
Adjusted drive arm on gearbox spindle to get correct throw direction. So that bits ok but still won't work - it has no power and will not turn the wiper. The wiper spindle is easy to stop with your finger n thumb. ???????????????
Maybe a poor negative connection.
Dunno
Garage I spose
