They are not bonded in are they?

Just asking as the glass is being replaced Friday, and its forecast to rain?

No they are not bonded in, just held in by the rubber seal.

No just an old fashioned lipped seal....that probably needs changing as it will have gone rather hard over the years and may leak if not replaced.

have a look at the lip when the seal is off, theres bound to be some rust , worth having some rustproofer ready ,

If they fit without a new seal and you have them back it will i beleive fall on you to pay, would suggest you get a new seal and get them to fit it when they do the job, insurance dont do betterment foc
