2.0l Aircooled Solex carb question...

Post by orangebooboobearcrew »

Hi,

Just in the process of trying to rebuild the engine in the old girl and noticed now the carbs are off that the right hand carb seems to have been plugged from the port in the centre section of the carb.

Does anyone know if this is correct or whether some clown has bodged this in the past?

I've looked through the Haynes manual and no clear photos / diagrams of the system set up. Does anyone have any such document or have photos how it should be set up if this is wrong?

Cheers,

Chris

Thanks for responses guys.

Sorry but got no pictures at present. If the missus can find the camera charger I will try and post some.

I have thought about Gassure but don't have a lot of money to spend and thought we may be taking hundreds to have this done...?

Any other thoughts???
