Dash lights not working ?

Post by happy camper »

Noticed tonight on my way home that my speedo / temp gauge lights aren't working all other lights are working and the dimmer is still diming the heater control lights, i find it hard to believe that both the bulbs have blown, any ideas ?

Thanx :ok

Dodgy connection on the flexi circuit boards.. or the strip connector onto the dash unit.. unplug and plug back in...

Have you been in behind the dash pod recently?

first off then , give them a gentle wiggle with them on... see if you can trace where the issue is/was

Surely if it was an earth issue then the heater control lights would also be off as would the sidelights ?

Thanx for the input tho :ok

Had a similar problem recently on the Syncro I've just bought. Replaced the headlight switch on the dash and solved my problem. Switch was £3 on eBay (delivered).

Hope it sorts yours out.
