1.6 ct no spark in dizzy
hi i require some assistance again got no spark from the dizzy should there be power goin to it down the 3 wires if so how much and where not sure if the control unit is knackered is there anyway of testing it???????????

Hi, i to have a 1.6 ct and a similar thing happened to me, i replaced the coil and it fired up first time, also check the connections on the coil.

hello isn't there supposed to be a spark from the dizzy itself i thought if i took the cap off i would be able to see a spark in there somewhre?
buti'll gat a new coil anyway as it doesn't have the correct resistance init with accordance with the haynes

Yes, if you put a very small screw driver in the points you should get a very small spark.

Mine did, then i changed it to electronic i think someone must have messed with mine in the past

any chance youcould directme as to where the wires go then pls
