GEARBOX CHANGE 2.1 PETROL 5 SPEED

Hi this is my first posting, I have a 5 speed gearbox that destoyed 4 gear last year, I had it 'rebuilt' at a cost of £850 and no the main bearing is on the way out and the guy wants another £550 for that as he didn't do that bit!! He must think I came down with the last shower of rain. I did not take him up on his kind offer and have sourced a replacement gearbox locally, I need it fitting, is there anyone out there in the Leicester area who would be prepared to do this for me, bearing in mind it is a hi top so won't fit on a lot of ramps. Welcome to the club ... swapping a WBX 5sp that's been in and out recently (thus no foooked cv bolts etc) should only take 3 hours tops (me and Mr T.Onion had mine out on the floor in 24 minutes) Get down and dirty and read the wiki.

You need to speak to Aidan (see link in my sig) he would have properly rebuilt it for that kind of dosh..
