Erber flashing

Post by Redmaine »

Evnin all.

I had my first night away in my camper recently after buying it in October. It was -6 so i had the erber running most of the night. I had it turned on at 5, and woke up sweating. I turned it down to two andwoke up about an hour later as i was freezing. The red light on the erber control panel was flashing?? I turned it off and back on again and it all seemed to be working again?

Any ideas?

Have you tried just turning it up? Could it just be telling you its in 'standby' mode and the thermostat is too low to switch it back on?
A constant flash from the green led indicates an overheat but not sure what the red constantly flashing is for so this is a bit of a guess.

I did wonder if it was just in a sort of standby, but it did feel pretty cold in the van. Will check the manuals, cheers for replys.
