Pirhana Alarm Re-Activation from Dormant

Post by JCL »

the original owner of my van used it very little and dry stored it in his garage and therefore, to avoid battery drain somehow de-activated the alarm system. It was so long ago that he had done nthis and he was 89 years of age when I made the purchase that he couldnt remember how he had done it.

Its a pirhana alarm with the interior sensors mounted underneath each grab handle on the A-pillars. He supplied me with an unusual key which must be a master key to activate the alarm however, he didnt know where in the van/dash that switch is fitted. Or alternativley maybe he merely removed a fuse to de-activate the alarm.. I would rather not involve an auto-electrician at this stage as I'm certian it is very simple......rather like me :rofl

Many thanks for any enlightening genius.

From experience there should be a "lock" the key fits to disable the alarm on back of siren under a rubber cover
