ohow do i adjust my tappets on my 2 litre Aircooled

tried adjusting my tappets last night and made a complete hash of it and did not find the haynes manual much use.
just wondering if someomne could write a clear explanation of how too too do it properly so i can print it off and give it too my mechanic friend. cheers

think theres a piece in the wikki but being hydraluic they should nt need much
if my vans a rocking dont worry fixing it again lol

The hydraulic tappets should not be adjusted.

This is assuming it has hydraulic tappets - the first thing to do is check if it has :wink:
