Hello for some funny reason ive just checked my leisure battery and i dont think it is ...... its a V063 43Ah am i thinking this is not a leisure battery (which might explain why the heating stopped workin at dubfreeze not enough voltage) if not what size can i fit into my van the battery goes behind the passanger seat
It's probably not a leisure battery; there's a lot of discussions on this very subject on here - have a search.
To be honest a 2nd starter battery will do the job unless you're looking at weeks of wild camping at a time, but if it's on its way out then it's time to swap it for a new one.
I got an 80AH Leisure battery from Alpha batteries (after lots of searching last year) http://www.alpha-batteries.co.uk/buy-on ... od_31.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. This fits and is good value (postage included). Only thing to check is that they send you the right one! The first one I got was the right AH but too tall - give them their dues it was swapped next day.
