Engine cover latches

Post by silverbullet »

I've got a wanted out for these, then it occurred to me - any tricks to removing them and refitting? New arrival seems to have lost them somewhere along the way...didn't notice at first

You have to bend the thick wire handle bit open slightly where it goes into the shaft that runs through to the underside of the cover. Just enough to get one side out then the other will follow with a bit of jiggery-pokery! :D
