Being new to the world of campers i am looking for a bit of advice. (40 years 2 wheels). I have bought a t25 with a 19tdi engine, supposedly a golf AAZ?
The temperature gauge doesn't move when the engine is running and I don't know whether this is due to the engine not being compatable with the t25 gauge or maybe not connected correctly?
I would also like to know how to identify the engine by the engine number so as to buy the correct manual? (AUK *** *** 095 BDE)
Any advice would be most appreciated
Great website by the way

Re: temperature gauge aaz to t25
Engine type and number is stamped on a flat bit at the top of the engine block, below number 3 and 4 injectors. First few letters are the engine type. Sometimes difficult to see. Clean with emery, and use a light shining flat along the surface.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
