The fleet continues to grow! Sold my Audi Allroad TDi before I really spoiled it (or it devalued any more) and promptly went out and spent some of the cash on a syncro! :ok
Shook on Mike Ghia's old RHD Caravelle C twin-slider (C767 ARW) over the weekend, collecting Friday. Now looking a little tired (van not me) but not too bad. Drives nicely, stops ok.
But...sounds like the front diff's shot. Somewhere between a whirr and a growl at all road speeds, right down to 1 mph. Hope it'll do the 60 miles home ok :?
Sound familiar? Diagnoses please! (Aidan's not in today so I'm asking you lot...)
Oh and the engine skid plate is missing  so I'll be needing one of those too...
pics at the weekend

disconnect the prop and get the front wheels in the air and have a rotate any noises investigate further, drop the oil see what the plug and oil say, I don't think Mike did owt to this van so don't expect the last guy to have either.

Thanks Aidan. It's had two owners since MG, I remember it was up for sale near to me (Aldershot, Hants) last year.
It was the current seller's first foray into T3's, too. The diff locks both work ok which is something.
