twin choke weber set up
hello boys and girls i have rebuilt my 2ltr ait cooled engine abd have just bought a twinchoke weber kit from just campers. the garage put it all together and set it up and happy days it run fantastic for about 10 miles then started to do all those things it shouldnt like backe fire..stalling.. runing fast.. running slow.. i managed to get it homeand spoke to the garage who charged me £185 for there effort and guess what.... today i went to take back to them and it wont start at all.... has anyone had anything like this happen to them and what did you do to overcome it.. £ 600 + so far and im spitting big feathers.. cheers my t25 dudes..its a 1980 by the way boys and girls.

Mmmm.. sorry to have to tell you this, but that sounds sooo familier with them.. they are not jetted correctly out of the box.. never have been and never will be... what you need to do is get it on a rolling road and set up properly by someone that knows webbers.. (Northampton motorsport come highly recomended..) do a quick search there are a couple of threads about webbers..
Did they fit a fuel pressure regulator? do you have the mechanical fuel pump or an electric pump fitted???
