Replacing the points ect with electronic ignition, is it worth it? and what would anyone suggest for a 1915cc Petrol water cooled 1986 T25?

Re: Elecronic ignition
as above , all t25's came factory with electronic
some muppets put the Aircooled t2 /t1 upgrade points dizzy in the 009 but for no reason on these vans
also its been known to fit a beetle/bay ignition system when/if the original system fails, as it will fit, this is because alot of these vans go to vw specialists (so say) and many bug /bay peolple have never seen electronic ignition and it confuses them and the fact they have no parts is to easy to stick points in!
but it very simple system and easiy to repair/replace so check and kep/fit the electronic system
