what he said but disconnect the battery before removing the fusebox to save any nasty short circuits

bugger, ok cheers. No glove box to remove, its on the other side. Earth crowns right in the left corner - life would have been much easier if that end came off!

Life would be much easier but you could always take the dash out.

Dash out is the best option or lie on your back and look up, that is part of the dash deffo dont seperate.

If you're just trying to clean the earth crowns, try using a dremel or similar
to polish them up after you've removed the wires. Takes minutes rather than
an hour or so.
Had the same problem myself before xmas. Tis a bugger to get the wires
off the crown, but it helps to give them a good spray with WD40 & leave to
soak in overnight. Get a long pair of pliers to remove the spade connectors.
I snapped two spade connectors doing it, but they were well corroded & would
have been useless soon after otherwise.
So have several spade connectors & a crimping tool ready.
It is a bit tight but better than removing the dashboard which
would be a 'mare!
Can't believe some people actually think it would be easier taking the dash
out. That would take a few days to get it out with everything
disconnected & then back in & reconnect all the wiring etc.
That is STUPID! So don't do it. Unless of course you like making
LOTS of work for yourself.
Best of luck.
