Propex X1 gas connections

Post by Team28crew »

I have got myself a Propex X1 heater and have download the instructions from Propex and they show the gas connection is a 1/4 inch in size, now Im have trouble sourcing 1/4 inch-8mm brass adaptor so can use 8mm copper gas pipe which seems readily available where as the 1/4 inch pipe is not (unless I've been searching in the wrong place).
If anyone has retro fitted one of these units could you please give me some advice on the gas connections and fittings.

It also only has 3 wires and not 5 as shown in the instructions, Orange.Red and Black whats the score using a cheap mechanical thermostat to control the heater.

Cheers, Mark
