alt / wp belt?

Post by mankymusic »

OK, I've got a march '84 caravelle with an autobox and a DG engine with a 65A alternator - what drive belt do I need? can't find an answer anywhere
the belt that is in there says "PWFT1090" on it

brickwerks stock 10x1075 and 10x1100
justkampers stock 10x1075 and 10x1100
GSF sell all sorts of belts
no one mentions anything "1090" so I assume that the wrong one has been fitted?

Quinton Hazel equivalent is QBA 1088 for that belt.

I've just fitted a Brickwerks 10x1100 belt on my 2.1 Auto Caravelle.
I need another one for my Power steering pump.
It had a worn 10x1075 on. God knows how it was fitted, because the alternator was at the bottom of its adjustment!!

They are a pain in the ring.
Generally 10x1075.
If you have a 1088 on is is slack or tight? obviously 100 is longer and 1075 shorter.
