Hi Guys
Very basic problem. My number plate flap will not open, is there anything that should be engaged for the number flap to open. Has opened previously.

My catch doesn't work any more after I had to give it a good yank, I am known for my exceptionally vigorous yanking. I've never bothered trying to fix it as the spring holds it shut and now it opens nice and easilly.
